My husband and I had just found out we were expecting and went in for our first ultrasound at 8 weeks. Before hand, everyone had been teasing us about twins. But NO, not me I only wanted to have an only child. Well, she was doing the u/s and we saw the baby on the screen. Being 1st timers, we thought “Do you have twins in the family?” was a standard question. We said “no” and she said “You do now”. That is the 1st time in 10 years that I have ever seen my husband unable to speak…. (It didn’t last long and the twins are now 4 1/2 )
